Stir-fry Beef with Bell Pepper

Steak with Bell Pepper

Ingredients (Serve: 2-3 people)

300g beef fillet, cut into smaller chunks/cubes
2 bell peppers (any colours you like), cut into cubes
1 clove garlic, mince
some dash of black pepper
some cooking oil

Marinate sauce:
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1/2 onion, mince
1 whole garlic, mince
some dash of black pepper

Seasoning sauce:
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon corn flour/starch mix with some water
1 teaspoon sugar

1. Mix all the marinated sauce in a bowl. Marinate the beef with the marinated sauce in a bowl. Refrigerate the beef for 2 hours.
2. Mix the seasoning sauce in a bowl and put aside.
3. Heat up 2 tablespoon of cooking oil in the fry pan. Once it’s hot, fry the marinated beef until well cooked. Remove the cooked beef and set aside.
4. Heat some cooking oil and saute some minced garlic over high heat till fragrant. Add bell peppers and continue to stir for another 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Add in the cooked beef and stir to combine with bell peppers. Dash some black pepper while keep stirring.
5. Pour in the seasoning sauce and turn to high heat. Stir quickly to combine the sauce evenly over the beef and bell peppers. Turn off the heat when the sauce begins to dry up.
