Tour at U.S Capitol, Washington D.C


The United States Capitol is the most symbolically important architecturally building in the United States of America. The United States Capitol is the place where the meeting chambers held between House of Representatives and the Senates in the United States. It becomes Americans' dreams to visit and tour the United States Capitol while traveling in Washington D.C, USA.

All the visitors, either you are a American or a foreign tourist, you are welcome to join the tour at the United States Capitol. It is always crowded with visitors thus, it is advisable to book your tour in advance to avoid disappointment, through this official website of The United States Capitol. This general tour, which lasted for 45 minutes, provides you some insights about the historical building of The United States Capitol as well as the stops at the Rotunda of the Capitol and National Statuary Hall.  

Apart from that, visitors are welcome to the galleries of Senate and House of Representatives as long as both galleries aren't closed for sessions. Those American visitors can obtain the passes to these galleries from the offices of the Senators or Representatives before the day of the tours. However, foreign visitors can obtain the passes by showing your passports on the day of the tours at designated counter of the galleries. Visitors are not allowed to take pictures or video recording while visiting U.S Senate and House of Representatives.

All visitors are mandatory to go through security screening before entering the building thus, it is crucial to read and abide to the U.S Capitol prohibited items list before your visit. For more details, please refer to the official website of the United States Capitol.
